The Service Guild Will “Build It Forward” in
Support of The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs
As part of the Service Guild of Birmingham’s plan for the year, the organization for the first time will split its largest fundraiser, the Annual Gala, into two parts. The Gourmet Dinners will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, at gracious homes throughout the metro area. This year’s theme for the event is “Build It Forward.”
The theme has a two-fold connection to the work of the organization, which supports The Bell Center, a facility for working with children at risk for developmental delay. In order to meet the needs of the Center’s ever-growing student population, Service Guild members and other supporters are currently working on plans to build a new Bell Center.
And, as always, the Guild is continuing its mission to provide these children with the means to “build” a better, more fulfilling future for themselves.
On this night, guests will have the chance to enjoy dinners prepared by some the most celebrated chefs in the Birmingham area.
The annual Benefactors’ Dinner and Live Auction will be held March 6, 2010 and that evening will provide another opportunity for guests to enjoy a lovely event while also helping support the worthy mission of the Service Guild.
